Something to Baa About

BOOKS: Baa-Choo! by Sarah Weeks is a current favorite. When my almost three-year-old wants to make a joke, his new go-to line is "Mommy, I've got a BAA AHHH no choo!" He thinks it is hysterical. Sheep in a Jeep (and the sheep series) by Nancy E. Shaw has also always been well-received in my house. And we even have a dollar-bin find that my younger son likes, too, called Who Says Baa? by Teresa Imperato.
ACTIVITY: This was an easy, cute, and quick art project. We used finger paint because it is nice and thick and works well for holding cotton balls and googly eyes. We took a piece of paper, and I placed a large oval of finger paint in the middle. My son then spread it around, and I helped him "draw" the legs and head. He then stuck the cotton balls over the sheep and added the eye.
